Wel our little girl is 4 months old now and she is just growing up too fast. The mom is doing pretty good but the baby is teething which may or may not be making feeling a litle tougher than most. I am doing pretty good since she does sleep through the night so no problems for me. Overall the whole family is doin pretty well and I think this is going to be a very fun year for all of us.

On Halloween it was a wee bit frosty around here and there was just the world most perfect spider web accented with the frost, it looks almost fake.

Yay our new baby is here and ready for her first Halloween. I am so excited to be the dad to this precious little girl. She seems to be eating well now we just pray for some more BM's from this little one. She really is like the hungry little caterpillar.

It was a fun week in the Watt-Segura household. Monday started us out with some checking account fraud which meant leaving work early for The Dad and close the account, opening the account, and making sure all the auto debits and credits go through like they are supposed to. Though after that The Mom when in for her monthly exam and we finally got the hear the heart beat. The lil one certainly likes to move though. Last time we could not get a fix but this time there was no escape. The Mom got to put an offer for a client on a home, she's a Real Estate agent by the way, so that is moving in the right direction. Work was calm all week so Friday afternoon was hectic as requests for report information came in from the VP and he needed them before I left so there ya go. My coworkers any I were supposed to go to one of those lunches that you win when you put your business card in those fishbowl well in the time it took us to get down there a robbery was taking place, the guy was nabbed, and he issued a bomb scare right next to the place we we're going to eat so that was a no go. Oh well, it's been a fun week.

The weekend went pretty well. We got up early to clean as The Auntie has a new bf that she was bringing over to meet the family. We had to get up rather early as we took The Nanna to Gene Juarez to her mother days gift for a cut and color there, yeah we know it's Sunday but that place is normally pretty packed on an off day. Well we got the house clean went to Gene Jaurez and dropped Nanna off while we ran a few errands. Nanna had some issues with the color treatment they were trying to do as they kind of messed up but fixed it pretty well. Afterwards we headed on home to meet the new bf. We all hung out and talked, pulled out some family albums that I had not even seen before so that was a lot of fun. We will get to the family vids as soon as I finish up the task of capturing all the tapes and putting them to DVD.

The Mom and I went to her friends for a dinner where they had some good food for fajitas. We all chatted for a good long while. After about four hours there we all decided to go to Red Robin at about 10 and called the Auntie up to meet her and her bf there. We chatted up some more, ate a lil and well I my share of beer but I wasn't the only one. We parted ways about midnight from The Mom's friend and the Mom drove the rest of us back home where The Auntie's bf stayed the night. We all watched the last episode of South Park which was humerous as The Auntie does dog training and Cartmen got trained by The Dog Whisperer. Zonked out after that.

Sunday was fairly relaxing, got up had some coffee, the Nanna and the Mom got to open their Mother's Day gifts. We got Nanna a flexible carrier for Tinkerbell so we can take her on more car trips hopefully. The Mom open the gifts I got her, one was a purse with little dogs all over it and another was a laser tape measurer, she's in real estate so it comes in handy trust me, it's not something I got for myself. We all piled in, including the dog, to go to Petco and take the bf back to his car which he left at Red Robin. After Petco we headed to Red Robin for lunch which was fairly quiet when we got there, only one happy happy birthday. I left for a bit and took Tinkerbell for a walk on the trailer across the street, if you know anything about her she's not much of a dog type dog. Tinkerbell did very well though and even though she wanted to be picked up a couple times I made her walk with me. I headed back and we headed back up. The Nanna and I went grocery shopping where we shopped it up. Once we got home we took the dog and the chickens out into the yard. One of the chickens ate its first bug which took awhile, it didn't seem to know what to do. We took them back in and I did some work around the yard pulling weed and planting some things that needed to get planted. After the yard work I made some hamburgers and fries on the grill and that pretty much ends our activity for the day.

Well we got our first ultrasound yesterday. I must say that is the best thing ever. You know you're going to be a dad but it seems surreal then you see this little thing bouncing around on the screen. I had to hold myself back from crying; I was just so happy. I can't totally describe the feeling but it's just like awwww...and it's odd because you kinda step back and take a breath and realize, "Hey, I think I'm turning into an adult." I just feel young and old all at the same time. I see myself now as just a very responsible kid.

This year I think I'm going to try to see how green my thumb is. My dad and his dad before him were both pretty good in the garden. I'm hoping I got some of that ability the make things grow grow grow like crazy. I'm hoping to really fill the beds this summer with some flowers and maybe some bushes. At some point we're going to relandscape the yard but that is quite a bit more effort and we're still trying to figure out what we like. It's funny but I think I forgot how much I like to dig holes. Truthfully though it bring a story to mind which relates to an episode of friends where they go to the beach and Joey digs a big hole. I used to make some monster holes at the beach when I was a kid; no castles for me thank you very much. Well best of luck to me and this hopefully green thumb.
